There may already be a very large number of Clickbank University reviews on the Internet, but many are written by those who are trying to promote alternative products, so in this post I’m going to write up a quick overview that’s as neutral as I can manage.
Clickbank University was founded in 2013 by a pair of internet entrepreneurs, who had made their money as affiliates and the creators of a range of digital information products. They were able to get the backing of Clickbank, a very large affiliate network that’s been operating since 1999, and thus set up the “Clickbank University”.
Clickbank University includes two courses – one about affiliate marketing and another about building products – as well as access to support and the popular forums. Membership costs $47, but there are up-sells as well that can make it much more expensive.
CBU is one of the most accessible and focused resources for those who are looking to learn about making money online in a relatively simple way – affiliate marketing. It’s better value for money than some alternatives, including Wealthy Affiliate, but it’s important to remember that much of the information included in this and other “courses” is usually available online for free – on sites like YouTube or the personal blogs of successful affiliate marketers.
